We're live here in Hudson!!!!

We're here live at Hudson for the showdown between Mendon and Hudson and we'll be updating live throughgout the night...play-by-play.
Of note, just spoke with John Johnson and the sites being considered if Ubly were to make a semifinal at this point are Howell and Brandon.
Just check the comments as we continue to update what is going on and give you some pre-game info.
We got here around 6 p.m. and there was well over a 1,000 in attendance already. Estimates are for a crowd of 5,000.
The game will be available to be watched tomorrow on MHSAA TV.

  5. Some other game notes, these 11-0 teams have never met before...
    Mendon has won 10 state titles with their first coming in 1982, followed by titles in 1989, 1991, 1993, 1995, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2005 & 2007...
Mendon's only championship game loss came in 1983, a 15-12 loss to St. Ignace.
Hudson has four state titles from "preplayoff days" including 1956, 1972, 1973 and 1974...
during that time Hudson won 72 consecutive games...

How can they have state titles without a playoff?
If thats the case, Ubly should be state champs too with the run they had from the mid 60's thru the early 70's.
