Not quite what I expected

I know I am not the only one who was shocked by today's 40-12 loss by North Huron to Peck. Not taking anything away from Peck, but heading in I just thought the Warriors appeared to be the more rounded team on paper. However, paper can be deceviing because stats showed the Pirates were a one man team with Mike Mann, but little did most of us know that Dontell Hamilton was perhaps the fastest running back in the area, as he had over 200 all purpose yards and four scores. These two teams might meet again in a District final in Division 8, so it will be interesting to see how it would turn out the next time around.
Kurt Dhyse nearly makes a one-hqanded grab.
Ed Wisneski makes a tackle.
Anthony Irvine tries to pick up some extra yards.

Kurt Dhyse tries to break a tackle.
Anthony Irvine gets wrapped up by a Peck defender.
Irvine fumbles.
Ed Wisneski makes a catch.
Dontell Hamilton burns the North Huron defense for one of his four scores.
Nick Mills get a block from a teammate.

Yea Im not surprised at all. Peck is a very good team. They are big (a little bit smaller then North Huron) but they are all fast. The offense has many weapons even though Mike Mann has been having a phenomanal season, at any time Donell Hamilton can ignite as well as the passing game. The Defense is also one of the best around right now.Give peck some respect

And who taught Chris almost everything he knows? Just kidding, Chris takes awesome photos. But as Chris will be the first to tell you, the equipment makes a huge difference.

Chris may be the best in the area, but I'm not that far behind. :)

Not to disagree with you Paul, but I learned everything I know about taking good photos from Bubba Smith... he showed me everything not to do when taking pictures. LOL

After seeing the game against the Warriors and the Pirates I came away quite impressed with the Pirates. All I had heard about all year has been Mike Mann. According to the Times Herald stats North Huron had 11 yards rushing for the game and a total of 7 first downs. That shocked me! Meanwhile Peck had 298 yards rushing and 197 yards passing. Wow! Curiously, Pecks coach also stated that they haven't been in a situation this year where they have had to utilize all of their resources. In my opinion Peck is that good. But, I believe North Huron was suprised by Peck's overall team speed, they won't be suprised the next time! If there is a rematch the next game will probably be much closer but in my opinion the speed of the Pirates will be the difference. I would also like to know what Chris and Pauls take is. The NCTL is a tough league to gage. It would be nice to see a team from this league make a long playoff run. Could this be the year? Hopefully we will have several area teams have good showings.

nice of you to take away the credit from Chris' photo's

don't care if its the equipment or not, he takes the best shots
and to say your not to far behind, let the fans be the judge of that.

enjoy your humble pie

Thanks for sticking up for me fb fan, but I know Paul meant nothing by his comment.
More importantly, what do you guys thinks about Friday's games...
HB should beat Deckerville by over 20 and Reese will probably have their way with the PAts... although I'd love to see an upset in that one.

fb fan, Humble pie? You must be joking.

This was my comment: "And who taught Chris almost everything he knows? Just kidding, Chris takes awesome photos. But as Chris will be the first to tell you, the equipment makes a huge difference."

Did you read "just kidding"? Chris a good friend of mine and I was just having a little fun. Don't read that much into because there was nothing meant by it.

But I will say the equipment does make a difference. Chris and Bossick would back me up on that.

the part where you pat yourself on the back for being "not that far behind"
as I said, let the fans be the judge and let CO be the one to give his equipment the credit

All this fuss over little ole' me...
I think Paul and I are equals as far as our photography skills.I don't want to sound arrogant, but we are the two best sports photogs in the area by far.
Whether you like my stuff better or his, that is a personal choice. But Paul was just kidding around, I know it, he knows, it is obvious to everyone. This conversation is over as far as I'm concerned.
So lets stop giving Paul sh*t and LET'S TALK ABOUT FOOTBALL!!!!
