Went to Lakers vs. Sandusky for a half to grab a photo for the paper, which has just been put to bed. Don't have a final on this one, waited as long as I could for it to get it in the paper...but can;t hold the press up for a single score.
As for the game, Lakers jumped out to an early 7-0 lead and lead 17-14 after the first. Early on I felt like Sandusky didn't get Marissa DeMott the ball enough and that some of the other players were forcing up shots.Things settled down in the second and the Redskins exploded to take a 37-24 (I think) lead at the half.
DeMott had 13 by my count in the first half.
