D is the Key in Lakers romp

There was plenty to cheer about at Lakers this week as they not only celebrated homecoming, but celebrated 50 years of education and excellence - and there was a football game too!

The first half was a defensive affair with the Lakers going into the locker room up by 5. The second half would be a different story as the Laker D allowed only two first downs and got sent their offense to cruise to ground the Eagles.
Elkton Pigeon Bay Port would find the endzone four times to make the final score 40-7

The win gets the Lakers ot 4-1 on the year and puts EPBP in good shape for post season play. I didn't use the "P" word as coach Gardy he wanted to take care of the "L" word first, then take a look at the "P" word.
