Chris, Just a ? I know this was a big game but it seems to me you and the Huron Daily Trib are always covering the same event girls or boys. Why don't you split up and try to cover more when you can?

Anonymous,
Just a couple things to point out about your question...
1)We are in no-way affiliated with the Huron Daily Tribune, except that we are both in the Thumb Sportswriters Association together. So we have no control over what games they cover. When we choose which games we cover during the week, we look for the big, must cover games first and then work the rest of the schedule from there.
We cover nine teams total: Bad Axe, Caseville, Harbor Beach, EPBP, North Huron, Owen-Gage, Port Hope, Ubly & USA. When you add what you see on the blog, plus some photos we got of Bad Axe & EPBP wrestling, we covered eight of nine schools this week (we missed O-G), so I think we are doing a good job of spreading it around.

Chris, do you happen to have the winning lottery numbers? You said in the pregame you liked USA by 12 and you were nearly perfect. If only Bitzer had missed one of those free throws down the stretch...

Jason,
In all seriousness I was really looking forward to playing the lotto last night, it was huge.
Maybe Tuesday, it's like 145 million.
First thing I'm doign is buying WLEW, bringing back the Thumb TailGaters show and converting to a sports talk format all the time...
