Sandusky 49, Ubly 45

The Bearcats had their chances but were unable to take advantage of them. In a nutshell that is the story of the game.
After taking a 27-21 lead into the half, Ubly was outscored 17-4 in the third to trail 38-31 heading into the fourth. Again, the Bearcats offense struggled as they went nearly three minutes in between baskets in the final four minutes, before Leipprandt scored with 0:54 left in the game. Ubly also had a two minute stretch late in the second, where they had multiple possessions and chnaces to extend their lead, but couldn't come away with a score.
Bearcat's coach Brent Wehner attributed the second half struggles to a lack of intensity in the second half.
With the loss, Ubly drops a game behind Sandusky and Brown City, who are tied for first, with games remaining between Sandusky & Brown City, as well as BC and Ubly.
