Bad Axe boys bring home title

The BAd Axe boy's cross country team surprised everyone as they captured the league title in Cass City. Bad Axe had a 1 2 3 finish with Jeremy Pawlowski leading the way with a time of 18:03. Nicholas Pawlowski finished 2nd (18:04) and Martin Wolschlager finished 3rd at 18:16. Nick Varner finished 13th (19:5), Charlie Prich 18th, (20:57) and Scott Maschke 24th, (22:17).
Coach Lee Kahler was as surprised as anyone saying that he expected the exact opposite as he looked for the girls to take the league title, but was happy to see his boys pull out the victory.
