The Lakers bid for an outright title in the Greater Thumb West fell short as they were throttled by a pesky Reese team that held the Lakers to 157 yards on the ground while Reese was busy breaking big plays to the tune of 33 points to spoil the Lakers plans. EPBP only managed 7 points as they were not able to sustain any kind of an offensive attack. The loss drops the Lakers to 5-1 in the GTW in a tie with the Rockets.
