The Blue Stars hung around for a half that was pretty evenly matched with the score being tied twice.
At the half, Port Hope still had high hopes. "I came here thinking we could win this game and I came here expecting to win the game," said Coach Don Pitts.
The beginning of the end of Port Hope's season came in the third quarter where the Blue Stars managed only two points and found themselves down 20, 42-22.
Port Hope made a nice run in the fourth quarter outscoring Bay City All Saints 26-13, but it wasn't enough as they lost 48-55 in the second round.
