To have any chance at all, the Bulldogs would have had to play a perfect game - and get some breaks from All Saints - but in the end - this one was all Cougars.

They were off to the races from the start scoring 23 in the first half while only allowing 9 for Owen-Gage.

The scoring continued in the second period putting up 25. The Cougars went to their big man Demarius Walker. Owen-Gage didn't have an answer for him. By the end of the half, the Bulldogs were down 26. (22-48)

The Cougars kept up the pressure on D holding Owen-Gage to just 10 points in the period while putting up 18 of their own.

The scoring machine let up a little in the final frame and ended up outscoring the Bulldogs by 40 (79-39)

Even though it was never a game, the Bulldogs never quit. There wasn't one time the team didn't hustle down the floor, go for a steal, or try for a loose ball. They didn't win - but they never quit. That is plenty of reason to be proud of the guys that play the game. That's also why the Bulldogs have enjoyed their third straight winning season. Who knows what next year will bring?
