The Lady Warriors weren't as sharp as Coach Mark Krug would have liked - but once again, North Huron got the job done against a weak Akron Fairgrove team that only put up two points in the first quarter.
By half the lead was 31-8. Krug talked about picking up the D at half and was pleased with the effort in the second half.
North Huron outscored AF 17-7 in the third frame to take a 48-15 lead into the fourth quarter where they cruised through for a decisive victroy. The Warriors won 57-31.
It wasn't the best test to get the Lady Warriors ready to play for the District crown, but the large lead did give Krug an opportunity to play some ladies off the bench to get some minutes that could prove to be the difference Friday night if needed.
The Warriors will look for some revenge agaainst All Saints after losing to them last year in the District title game - should be a good one.
