The Warriors got the job done - but didn't look as sharp as coach Paul Empkie would have liked. As in the last three games, North Huron started slowly - but earned their way to the District title game by winning 81-52.

The Vikings hung around for the first quarter and only trailed by 3 - but by half, the Warriors had kicked it up a nothch finally looking like a team that was ready to play for the District title. They took a 13 point lead into the half.

North Huron came out firing in the third and outscored AF 24-13 to pull even further away and keep their perfect season in tact and would go on to win impressively 81-52.

The Warriors were a stellar 20/28 (71%)from the charity stripe which may prove important in Friday night's contest.

It's interesting ot note both teams that play on Friday for the title each scored 81 points in each of their respective semifinal games.

The win tonight sets up a rematch of last years ditrict finals against the Bay City All Saints in Akron-Fairgrove HS at 7:00 p.m
