Total Domination

North Huron was totally dominated by Dryden. The MO for the evening for the Warriors was three and out. North Huron didn’t see a first down until :49 seconds to go in the first half, but the damage had already been done as Dryden had put up 52 unanswered points by then.
John Iseler left the game and was taken to the hospital with an unknown injury. I was told he couldn’t bend at the waist. Anthony Irvine didn’t dress for the game which left the Warriors without two key players.
North Huron came out with a lot of spirit after halftime only to endure more frustration from the Dryden defense and the lack of experience they were left with on the field because of injuries to key players.
The Cardinals team was most impressive. They were very well coached and the execution was a thing of beauty to watch. I would defy any TV cameraman to follow the ball in that offense. It was impossible to see who had the ball. That will lead them straight to the playoffs. The Dryden D also played well. The Warriors only managed at most five first downs tonight. I asked Coach Fischer about the offense. His comment was, “There was none.”
He did take his hat off to the team for not quitting. The came out with a lot of heart – but in the end it was nowhere enough to overcome a dismal first half against a tough team.
